About me.

First and foremost I give gratitude for living in the Mississaugas of the New Credit's traditional territory. Mahsi!

As a proud Ts'msyen woman from Lax Kw'alaams, Dene from LutselK'e, and Métis woman I have continually followed my values and passion. This has brought me to the far reaching places of Guatemala, Toronto, Saskatoon, and Uganda to work. Most important through my journey, I attained a law degree from UBC and articled at Aboriginal Legal Services in Toronto.

At my call ceremony in June 2015, I petitioned the Law Society of Upper Canada to wear my Ts'msyen regalia, as it is important to me to represent my Indigenous heritage.

In and outside the law I am honoured to represent my culture and legal traditions. I am also honoured to have worked as a human rights lawyer in Toronto and currently as a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for International Governance and Innovation in their International Legal Research Program. Always remembering where I come from and who I am and the importance of staying connected to community.
